Online tickets on sale now with free downloads! Following their two triumphant sell-out concerts supporting Kristyna Myles at Playhouse2 Theatre, Shaw during January and October, on Saturday 6th December Detours will headline Detours Music's Christmas Acoustic Concert at The Millgate Arts Centre, Delph, Saddleworth (formerly The Players' Theatre) show commencing at 7.30pm (doors 6.30pm). They will be joined by their special guest Hannah Short, who supported KT Tunstall in June. Tickets are priced at £8 and are now on sale online at Detours Music Store. Online purchases will be rewarded by a free download of the song 'Snowballed' by Detours, their Christmas single. The free downloads will be sent as a gift through iTunes to the e mail address of your choice. Tickets are also available from Uppermill Post Office and South's Butcher's, Greenfield. New digital single & album releases Detours new digital single 'Memory Lane' is available on iTunes now, and like 'Someday' has been receiving some independent radio airplay. The song is taken from the remixed and remastered version of their second album 'No Evil' which will receive its official digital release on 23rd October.

Digital single release 17th November As fans will already be aware, a very funny and charming promo video was made last year for 'Snowballed', the title track to Detours Christmas EP, and this year they are to release the song as a digital single on iTunes and Tunetribe on November 17th. The song 'Snow On The Mountains' will be the 'B-side' as it were, for which a promo video is also currently in production.

Memory Lane The Boxset due in 2009!

Detours are currently working on a collection of previously unreleased recordings entitled 'Memory Lane The Boxset' which will contain approximately 100 tracks, consisting of live concert and soundcheck performances, demos, home recordings, alternate mixes, and new songs.

The remarkably ambitious project has no current release date, but it is hoped that it may be completed for a mid 2009 release, digitally through iTunes, and as a limited edition CD boxset through their Detours Music Store website.

There are also rumours that an extensive DVD project is underway to coincide, including acoustic live performances and promo videos.



'Detours with Kristyna Myles goes to Hollywood!'

'Sense Of Purpose (Radio Edit)' by Detours with Kristyna Myles is included on an acoustic compilation from 272 Records based in Hollywood. The album 'Acoustika Vol 5' was released on Tuesday October 2nd, and is available from Amazon.com. We have several copies available from Detours Music Store, priced only £6.00 (free postage).

The CD has been distributed to 25 college radio stations in California.
